Calling all WCDP DCs! Join ED Austen High, First VC Brian Fitzsimmons, and some special guests for the first official DC meeting of the new political year. Topics will include a look back at summer activities, the WCDP Labor Day Picnic Fundraiser, coordinated campaign and auxiliary support for early voting sites, Paint the Town Blue Challenge, welcoming new DCs, precinct and district organization, and looking ahead to October and November. Dinner and beverages will be provided for this kick-off event; please bring a side or dessert to share if you'd like. NOTE: This meeting is for WCDP DCs and invited guests only. You must RSVP to Lead District Coordinator Kev Creech no later than 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1 to be included for dinner.

Raleigh Community Day Celebration Saturday, September 20 at Chavis Community Center ball park. This event is free and open to the public. There will be voter registration and sign up sheets for volunteers to work the polls on election day. Free food and music for every one. All Candidates, and Elected Officials are invited to speak.
