Democratic Men's March Meeting 2015

The Holiday Inn Downtown in Raleigh, NC

The Wake Democratic Men's Club will meet on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6–8 PM at the Holiday Inn Downtown, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh.  Guest speaker will be Gene Nichol, Professor of Law and Director of the Center on Poverty, Work and Opportunity at the University of North Carolina. He will speak to us on North Carolina's Hunger and Poverty and Our Legislative Options. Doors open at 6 PM and dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The program will commence at 7PM.  Please make your dinner reservations no later than Thursday, March 5 to WakeDMC@mail.com.   Dinner is $20 for members of the Club and $23 for non-members.  The night's event will prove to be an outstanding program and we are expecting a huge gathering, so please make your reservations early.


WCDP District Coordinators' March Meeting

Our March DCs' meeting will take place on March 11 INSTEAD OF the first Wednesday in March to accommodate final cluster meetings.  The WCDP Data Management Corps will be our invited guests.  Among other topics, we will discuss the following:

  • precinct organization so far
  • pluses/deltas of cluster meetings
  • make-up precinct meetings
  • organization data needs (with the DMC)
  • the forthcoming CEC and County Convention
  • which DCs are planning to run for WCDP offices or the SEC

LGBT Democrats of Wake County

Join us as we begin our very own chapter of LGBT Democrats of North Carolina in Wake County. We will be having an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:30 pm. Please come and help us as we elect our first board members and set an agenda for what we would like the group to accomplish in this first year.

WCDP District Coordinators' May Meeting

NOTE:  Our final meeting of the year is scheduled to last 30 minutes longer than normal.

This is the final DC meeting for the year.  Our business meeting will include a wrap-up of the year's events and a look ahead to the fall, awards to our MVDCs (Most Valuable District Coordinators), and the election of the new LDC or co-LDCs.  The business portion will be followed by an end-of-year celebration.  More details will be added as we get closer this date.
