April District Coordinators' Meeting

April's meeting will focus on the forthcoming county convention, district reports on organization, and looking ahead toward choosing a new LDC or co-LDC in May.  More information will be added as we get closer to this date.

DCs, please RSVP directly to Kev Creech via email by 8 p.m. on Monday, March 30.  Include the following information in your RSVP: if you're attending or sending a proxy (include proxy's name and contact information), what you are bringing for potluck, if you can come early to set up/stay after to clean-up, & if you plan to attend the full meeting/coming late/leaving early.

Parking:  Park along Hillsborough St. or in the gravel parking lot of the Holiday Inn (formerly The Clarion) on block up from Goodwin House.

Wake County Democratic Party Resolutions Committee Meeting

Place: NCDP / Wake County Democratic Party Headquarters

Date: Thursday 4/2/2015

Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The Resolutions Committee will consider resolutions adopted at Wake County Democratic precinct meetings that met the 5 person quorum requirement in section 1.05 of the NCDP Plan of Organization.

Resolutions submitted, in person, by attendees will also be considered.

County Convention

The County Convention will be on April 11 at Rolesville High School. Registration will begin at 9:30 and the convention will start promptly at 11am. 


Democratic Men's Club April Meeting

Holiday Inn Downtown in Raleigh, NC

The Wake Democratic Men's Club will meet on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 6–8 PM at the Holiday Inn Downtown, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh.  Guest speaker will be Chris Fitzsimon, the Founder and Director of NC Policy Watch and the author of  daily Fitzsimon File. He will speak to us on" What the Future Looks Like-A Legislative Overview." Doors open at 6 PM and dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The program will commence at 7PM.  Please make your dinner reservations no later than Thursday, April 9 to WakeDMC@mail.com.   Dinner is $20 for members of the Club and $23 for non-members.  The night's event will prove to be an outstanding program with a fantastic speaker and we are expecting a huge gathering, so please make your reservations early.  Hope to see you there!


WCDP District Coordinators' May Meeting

NOTE:  Our final meeting of the year is scheduled to last 30 minutes longer than normal.

This is the final DC meeting for the year.  Our business meeting will include a wrap-up of the year's events and a look ahead to the fall, awards to our MVDCs (Most Valuable District Coordinators), and the election of the new LDC or co-LDCs.  The business portion will be followed by an end-of-year celebration.  More details will be added as we get closer this date.
