It has been an electrifying twelve months since our last PR Latta Award dinner. Last year's dinner honoring Mrs. Martha Farmer was a great success and your contributions allowed our organization to engage in numerous party building activities. We thank you for your support and ask that you again graciously donate to our effort.
In 2007, the donations received from the PR Latta dinner funded voter registration drives, grassroots training, membership building and political campaign involvement. These projects were successful because of your generous financial support.
We invite you to join us at the Chatham Democrats' 3rd Annual Democratic Community Breakfast on August 9. This is part of our big push for overwhelming success in the election of 2008. The breakfast will be held at Holland Chapel AME Zion Church in Apex at 9:00 a.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m.
State Senator and U.S. Senate candidate Kay Hagan will be our featured speaker and we expect a great crowd of candidates, elected officials, and local Democrats and friends at the breakfast.
The cost is $15.00 per person and additional contributions are welcome.

The Wake Democratic Mens Club (WDMC) holds its regular dinner meeting on the second Monday of every month (except July and December) at the Clarion Hotel, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, one block west of Goodwin House.
