Democratic Women of Wake County cordially invite you to a special evening meeting on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the NC State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough Street. The Honorable Robin Hudson, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of North Carolina will speak on “The Importance of the Judiciary.” Judicial candidates for local and statewide races will also be in attendance.

Registration begins at 5:30 pm and the dinner buffet lines open at 6:00 pm with the program starting at 6:30 pm. A cash bar will be available and the cost of the dinner is $13.00.

Democratic Women of Wake County will meet Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the NC State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough Street.

The program will feature Democrats Wayne Goodwin, candidate for Insurance Commissioner, Ronnie Ansley, candidate for Agriculture Commissioner, and Mary Fant Donnan, candidate for Labor Commissioner. The buffet lunch lines open at 11:30 am with the program starting at 12:00 Noon. The cost of the luncheon is $13.00.

Martha Brock is sponsoring a Meet & Greet for Stan Norwalk, candidate for Wake County Commissioner along with honored guest, Representative Jennifer Weiss, at North Cary Park, 1100 Norwell Blvd. Cary, on August 28th from 5 - 7 pm. Bring the family and your neighbors. There is no cost for this event, everyone is welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
