This is an opportunity for those who were volunteers, supporters and voters for President Obama to become involved locally to move our agenda forward. Join local activists for an interactive discussion with Organizing for America state leadership about our plans for the upcoming year. Learn about how you can become involved with our efforts supporting candidates at the local and statewide level. I know that you are fired up and ready now let's get to work and finish the job. President Obama's election was only the opportunity to make change, we each owe it to ourselves and our children to do our part to affect change. We've seen locally and nationally what can happen when we are complacent.
Our annual precinct meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 4. These meetings are critical to our ongoing efforts to organize our county and win elections.
Most of our meetings are scheduled as group meetings on March 2nd and 4th at central locations across the county. However, a few precinct chairs have requested and been approved for alternate dates and meeting locations. Check www.wakedems.org for more details.
