Our annual precinct meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 4. These meetings are critical to our ongoing efforts to organize our county and win elections.
Most of our meetings are scheduled as group meetings on March 2nd and 4th at central locations across the county. However, a few precinct chairs have requested and been approved for alternate dates and meeting locations. Check www.wakedems.org for more details.

The Wake Democratic Men’s Club (WDMC) holds its regular dinner meeting on the second Monday of every month (except July and December). Registration starts at 6 PM, and a plated dinner ($16) is served at 6:30 PM. Please rsvp for dinner at 919-828-5656 or by email wakedemmen@wakedems.org no later than 10am on the Monday of the meeting. Please join us for good food, good fellowship, and an opportunity to connect with other Democrats! All are welcome.

Registration starts at 6 PM, and a plated dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The cost of the sit-down dinner is $16 for members, first-time guests, and those not eligible for Club membership, $20 for non-members. All registered Wake County voters are eligible for Club membership. Please note the change in the cost of the meal for non-members.

This Thursday, March 11th, supporters will be gathering for a rally for health insurance reform outside of Congressman Bob Etheridge's Raleigh office.
Opponents of reform will be out in force. So we need to show that North Carolinians support the President's proposal and will fight for supporters of reform like Representative Etheridge.

Wake County voters will hear from the united front of Democratic candidates for County Commissioner. You know about Washington, and what happens on Jones Street, so come out to hear how these Democrats will make a difference on YOUR street.
All are welcome to attend this meeting. In fact, we encourage it.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm and ends around 8:00pm. If you are new to the area, new to the Democratic Party, or been around forever, but want to know more, please join us.

DWWC to Host Special Evening Meeting in March
Democratic Women of Wake County will host a special evening meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Clarion Hotel State Capital, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh.
The program speakers will be U.S. Senate candidates: NC Sec. of State Elaine Marshall, former NC State Senator Cal Cunningham, Attorney Kenneth Lewis, Attorney Marcus Williams and Ann Worthy.
Registration and cash bar begin at 5:30 p.m.; dinner at 6:15 p.m. and program at 6:45 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $20.00 payable at the door.

The Western Wake Democrats will meet at 7pm on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 to hear from Ken Lewis, one of the candidates for US Senate in this May's Democratic Primary.
The meeting will be held at the Glenaire in Cary. The Glenaire is just north of W. Cornwall Rd. about one block west of Kildare Farm Rd.
This meeting has been canceled by its organizer.
Rita Roberts, Chair of 08-05, is holding a meeting for unorganized precincts in House District 40 for March 31, 2010 at the American Craftsmen Building, 9910 Strickland Road. She is inviting all of the organized precincts to join as well.
