DWWC to Host Special Evening Meeting in March Democratic Women of Wake County will host a special evening meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Clarion Hotel State Capital, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh. The program speakers will be U.S. Senate candidates: NC Sec. of State Elaine Marshall, former NC State Senator Cal Cunningham, Attorney Kenneth Lewis, Attorney Marcus Williams and Ann Worthy. Who can register to vote? Anyone who is a US Citizen, will be at least 18 years old by November 2, 2010 and who has lived in Wake County for at least 30 days can register to vote.
Same Day Registration is for Early Voting only. During Early Voting, eligible Wake County residents can register and vote at any Early Voting site in Wake County.

For disabled voters or voters who need assistance:
• Curbside voting – If you cannot walk into a voting site, tell a poll worker that you need curbside voting. A ballot will be brought to your car.
• Marking the ballot – Ask to use the AutoMARK, to mark your own ballot by audio instructions or reading magnified type.
