Registration and Voting
Who can register to vote? Anyone who is a US Citizen, will be at least 18 years old by November 2, 2010 and who has lived in Wake County for at least 30 days can register to vote.
Same Day Registration is for Early Voting only. During Early Voting, eligible Wake County residents can register and vote at any Early Voting site in Wake County.
For disabled voters or voters who need assistance:
• Curbside voting – If you cannot walk into a voting site, tell a poll worker that you need curbside voting. A ballot will be brought to your car.
• Marking the ballot – Ask to use the AutoMARK, to mark your own ballot by audio instructions or reading magnified type.

Lindsay Siler is the NC State Director of Organizing for America, the Democratic National Committee's grassroots project to support President Obama’s agenda. The Wake Democratic Men’s Club (WDMC) holds its regular dinner meeting on the second Monday of every month (except July and December). The 2010 County Convention will be held on April 17, 2010 at Ligon Middle School in Raleigh for the purposes of electing delegates to the district conventions, considering precinct resolutions, and discussing the 2010 elections.
Registration begins at 12:00.
Wake County Young Democrats will be selling hot dogs, chips and drinks.
Precinct Officer Training begins at 8:30am (registration at 8am).
County Executive Committee Meeting begins at 1:00pm for the purpose of electing a Raleigh Vice Chair.
