The buffet lines open at 11\:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 noon. The cost of the luncheon\, payable at the door\, is $18.00 for members\, $20 for nonmembers and $5 for anyone wishing to attend and not eat.

On Saturday\, June 16\, 2012\, Democratic Women of Wake County will host the 43rd Annual Jefferson-Jackson Breakfast at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh. Registration begins at 8\:00 a.m. and the program commences at 9\:00 a.m.
Keynote speakers are The Honorable Maxine Waters\, U.S. Congresswoman from California and The Honorable Nina Turner\, State Senator from Ohio. Congresswoman Waters is known as a fearless and outspoken advocate for women\, children\, people of color and the poor. Senator Turner\, also an outspoken advocate of the disenfranchised and underrepresented\, champions the issues of education\, employment and building vibrant and safe communities.
