I am excited to announce that I will seek re-election as the District 1 Council Member in Morrisville. A lifelong resident of Morrisville and mother of 3, I have served the residents of Morrisville as a Council Member since 1999.
Morrisville has seen many transitions over the past 150 years. From a small agricultural town to an expanding bedrock for the Research Triangle Park, we have witnessed tremendous growth. As we move further into the 21st century, we must continue to build on the legacy that entices all of us to live here, to work here, and to send our children to the neighborhood and surrounding schools. Our growth has experienced its share of bumps and trials; however, we must continue to tread the pathways to better living conditions, a safer environment, improved transportation, sound fiscal policies, and accountable leadership.
