PR Latta Award Dinner

It has been an electrifying twelve months since our last PR Latta Award dinner. Last year's dinner honoring Mrs. Martha Farmer was a great success and your contributions allowed our organization to engage in numerous party building activities. We thank you for your support and ask that you again graciously donate to our effort.
In 2007, the donations received from the PR Latta dinner funded voter registration drives, grassroots training, membership building and political campaign involvement. These projects were successful because of your generous financial support.
Our success was recognized statewide when the Wake County Young Democrats were awarded the Young Democratic Club of the Year from the Young Democrats of North Carolina at their annual convention this past spring.
The PR Latta dinner is the Wake County Young Democrats annual fundraiser. Monies received from this event allow us to support the Democratic Party and its candidates. We ask that you consider sponsoring our dinner this year.
We are very excited to announce that the 2008 PR Latta Award recipient is Mr. Everett Ward. Mr. Ward embodies the spirit of the PR Latta Award because of his outstanding and lifelong commitment to grassroots activism for the Democratic Party.
We are asking that you show your thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ward by contributing as a sponsor of the PR Latta dinner. Your generosity will ensure the Wake County Young Democrats can continue the activism learned from Mr. Ward in the coming year.
This year's dinner is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the North Carolina State University Club. Social hour begins at 6pm with dinner to follow at 7. Tickets are $25.00 each. The levels of sponsorship are as follows:
Gold: $500 (includes 8 banquet tickets)
Silver: $250 (includes 4 banquet tickets)
Bronze: $100 (includes 2 banquet tickets)
