Election 2008

September 15 - First day to request an absentee ballot by mail.

October 10 - Last day to register, change your name, address or party affiliation. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by or hand delivered by 5 PM. Forms are available at www.wakegov.com/elections or by calling 919 857-9345.

October 16 - One-Stop Voting begins at the Board of Elections office.

October 28 - Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail.

November 1 - One-Stop Early Voting ends.

November 3 - All voted absentee ballots must be in the Board of Elections office by 5PM.

November 4 - ELECTION DAY - Polls are open form 6:30AM to 7:30 PM.
