Vote in the May 2010 Primary Election

Vote Early from April 15 to May 1 OR Vote on Election Day, Tuesday, May 4, from 6:30AM to 7:30PM at your precinct polling place

On the ballot, fill in the oval completely but stay inside the lines. Ask for another ballot if you mismark or otherwise spoil the ballot.

Registration and Voting
Who can register to vote? Anyone who is a US Citizen, will be at least 18 years old by November 2, 2010 and who has lived in Wake County for at least 30 days can register to vote.
Same Day Registration is for Early Voting only. During Early Voting, eligible Wake County residents can register and vote at any Early Voting site in Wake County.

For disabled voters or voters who need assistance:
• Curbside voting – If you cannot walk into a voting site, tell a poll worker that you need curbside voting. A ballot will be brought to your car.
• Marking the ballot – Ask to use the AutoMARK, to mark your own ballot by audio instructions or reading magnified type.
