Democratic Women of Wake County will hold a luncheon meeting on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the NC State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.

The guest speaker will be Randy Voller, newly elected Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party.
The buffet lines open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 noon. The cost of the luncheon, payable at the door, is $18 for members, $20 for non-members and $5 for anyone wishing to attend and not eat.

On Thursday, Feb 28th at the Goodwin House, we will offer a training for anyone interested in organizing their precinct in March. We will provide all the tools necessary for you to have a successful precinct meeting and what to expect in the coming year. The Wake Democratic Men's Club is proud to welcome Keith Sutton, Chair of the Wake County School Board, as its speaker at the Clarion hotel in downtown Raleigh on February 11th. Keith will draw on his many experiences and speak to some of the challenges and opportunities facing us in the coming year. This is an important year as we have a changing of the guard on the state level, and elections this fall for the Wake County School Board. Let's band together and carry the torch forward for our young people- reach out to friends and family to join you on Feb. 11th. We need a QUORUM. Please find a proxy if you can’t attend.

If unable to attend, you may assign another to act on your behalf by completing the form on the postcard mailed to you. You may also call the office at 919-828-5656 to request a form. (If you are a precinct officer your proxy must reside in your precinct.) Your proxy must bring the completed form to the meeting!
