We have invited all candidates running for NCDP offices.
The candidates will share their vision on how to rebuild and shape our party for the future.

-Discuss February 2 NCDP elections (with candidates)
-Discuss 2013 agenda and precinct organization
-Discuss proposed amendments to the Plan of Organization
-Board of Elections Vacancy (one vacancy)

This meeting is open to the public.

We need a QUORUM. Please find a proxy if you can’t attend.

If unable to attend, you may assign another to act on your behalf by completing the form on the postcard mailed to you. You may also call the office at 919-828-5656 to request a form. (If you are a precinct officer your proxy must reside in your precinct.) Your proxy must bring the completed form to the meeting!

Democratic Women of Wake County will hold a luncheon meeting on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the NC State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.

Guest speakers will be Nina Szlosberg-Landis and Gwen Wilkins, candidates for First Vice Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party.

The buffet lines open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 noon. The cost of the luncheon, payable at the door, is $18 for members, $20 for non-members and $5 for anyone wishing to attend and not eat.

The Wake Democratic Men's Club is proud to welcome State Representative Rick Glazier as its speaker at the Clarion hotel in downtown Raleigh on January 14th. Rick will draw on his many experiences and speak to some of the challenges and opportunities facing us in the wake of the recent elections. We're going to start the new year with conviction and great energy, so I encourage you to reach out to friends and family to join you on Jan 14th. Our regular meetings usually fall on the first Tuesday of every month. However, since the first Tuesday is New Year’s Day, our January 2013 meeting will be one week later on Tuesday, January 8th at the Goodwin House, 220 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh.
Importantly, this will be the meeting at which we elect new officers for the coming year. This includes Wake YD President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. At the same meeting, we will also be electing 5 members to our Executive Board.
