Ty Harrell, Dist. 41, will host a District Dialogue on the topic of schools converting to a mandatory year-round calendar, Thursday, February 15, 7:00-8:30pm, at the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce. Scheduled guests include Chuck Delaney, Assistant Superintendent for Growth and Planning, and Lindy Brown, Wake County Commissioner. Seating available on a first-come basis.

Come join NCSU College Democrats and the Progressive Democrats in watching the film The "Ground Truth." It is one of the most important films to watch as our own President believes that a troop escalation will solve the problems in Iraq; he stands alone in his theory. This is about real lives that will never be the same even if they make it home.The movie is told through the eyes of veterans of this war and it is a harrowing look at what some soldiers go through when they return and try to put their lives back together. It's a tough reminder of the human cost of war. Come join us!
