Our guest speaker will be Peter Walz from the
NC Conservation Network. Peter will speak on
North Carolina's energy policy and what a smart
energy plan would look like for our state.
Peter joined the NC Conservation Network staff
in December 2005. Prior to coming to the
NC Conservation Network he spent almost seven
years as a community organizer with Democracy
North Carolina, organizing for campaign
finance and voting rights issues in the state.
As usual, our event is a potluck that will
begin at 6:30pm with the speaker to begin at
6:45pm. Business meeting to follow speaker.
