Convention Delegates Can Now Read and Comment on Resolutions

News | Resolutions2006 County Convention Delegates can now read and comment on the resolutions that were debated at the meeting of the Resolutions Committee on March 25, 2006. Each resolution received a recommendation that it be adopted or not be adopted by the County Convention. The Resolutions Committee meeting lasted from 9 AM to 5 PM with a 45-minute break for lunch.
To view the resolutions, delegates will need to create a User ID and be given access.

Wake County Convention Results
Submitted by WCDP on Mon, 04/25/2005 - 5:29am. News | ResolutionsOn Saturday, April 16, Wake County Democrats gathered at Southeast Raleigh High School for their annual county convention.
The delegates responded enthusiastically to remarks from State Party Chair Jerry Meeks, Congressmen David Price, Bob Etheridge, and Brad Miller, Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker, and Secretary of State Elaine Marshall.
The invocation was given by Rev. Paul Anderson, who is also a candidate for the Raleigh City Council (District A).
Other candidates attending included Benson Kirkman and Russ Stephenson (Raleigh City Council at large), Julie Robison of the Cary Town Council, Ronnie Williams, Garner Alderman running for Mayor, and Ty Harrell, candidate for the NC House.
