SUMMARY:Issues & Actions Social with Democrats of Capital Forest Area
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Capital Forest Area Democrats*\, you are invited to join our upcoming Issues & Actions Social with Democrats of Capital Forest Area. A recurring casual gathering\, we’ll connect with like-minded neighbors over shared values and have meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to us as Democrats. This will be a monthly social\, taking place the 4th Thursday of the month\, March through at least October of this year. This is a continuation of the socials we’ve hosted in the past which have had great turnout and were attended by many Democratic Party leaders\, elected officials\, and candidates. \nWe’ll discuss a range of topics\, from healthcare and education reform to climate change and immigration\, and more. This is a chance to stay informed\, share perspectives\, and make our voices heard in a welcoming atmosphere. Each month we’ll have action opportunities. These activities will include\, but not limited to\, writing and sending postcards to voters\, canvassing and/or literature drops\, phone banking\, and other activities. Maybe you have an idea for the group! \nPlease RSVP here so that we know how many to expect\, can set up enough tables\, and bring enough materials to go around. We will sit outside as much weather permits. \n*Capital Forest Area precincts are 01-42\, 01-44\, 01-46\, 01-47\, 13-01\, 13-05\, 13-07\, 13-08\, 19-16\, 19-17\, but all are welcome!
