DESCRIPTION:Talking to voters is the number 1 way to ensure people show up for our mid-term elections.  From now until November\, our job is to connect to voters and convince them to take action – in the field and at the ballot box. \nWe will provide training\, packets including door hangers and your VOLUNTEER badge – you bring your Voice\, your Passion and your Reasons for being involved with our NC Wake County Democratic Party –  for our 18-04 candidates including incumbents – State Senate District 13 Lisa Grafstein\, US House NC District 2 – Deborah Ross\, NC House District 33 Monika Johnson-Hostler\, NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls\,  Democrats for our NC Court of Appeals and for the US Senate North Carolina former Governor Roy Cooper… \nIf you are a veteran door knocker\, a new volunteer or canvass curious – we are grateful for your time and all are WELCOME. \nYour Turf information\, supplies & training is available for pick up MOST Fridays at 2pm – please download the MiniVAN app onto your phone. \nImportant Mid-Term Voting Dates: \n\nSept. 4: Absentee ballots must be available and distributed to military and overseas voters.\nOct. 9: Voter registration deadline (5 p.m.).\nOct. 15: In-person early voting begins; same-day registration available.\nOct. 20: Absentee ballot request deadline (5 p.m.)\nOct. 31: In-person early voting ends (3 p.m.).\nNov. 3: Election Day.\nNov. 3: Absentee ballot return deadline (7:30 p.m.).\n\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a chance to learn how easy and effective it is to phone bank voters\, at your convenience from wherever you are\, and using an WCDP- autodialer software! \nWe’ll walk you through the online portal and show you on the big screen the steps involved so that you’ll be sure to leave feeling comfortable and confident reaching out to remind Democrats and likeminded Unaffiliated voters about the importance of their vote in the upcoming election.  It’s a great way to spend a few hours and makes a huge difference turning people out at the polls! \nWhen margins of victory are slim\, and elections are decided by only a few votes – every conversation matters. Our work is all about building real connections with voters long before Election Day – listening to what matters to them\, sharing helpful information\, and strengthening our community one conversation at a time!!
