Union Baptist Community Watch of “South to Black Power” Film

April 6 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Community Event
WeThePeople.CFC Team is planning to take the Community Watch of the film “South to Black Power,” by Charles M. Blow to between 35 and 70 cities across the United States this year to galvanize the Black community around our issues and supercharge the reverse great migration.  It was this migration that has been happening over the last 30 years that allowed the state of Georgia to elect two (2) new progressive Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.  This strength must be utilized to affect local state politics and policies that most negatively affect the Black community.
We hope that you return for the 2nd Community Watch at Union Baptist Church located at 904 North Roxboro Street in Durham, NC from 2pm – 6pm.  We will have videographers and photographers at this event to memorialize the MOVEMENT that is coming.
We look forward to your attendance, and your bringing others with you.  Like the first event we will be conducting the community watch of the film, executing a Q&A by the author Charles Blow, holding a panel discussion regarding the film, executing voter registration, voter education, and having community vendors in place.
