We create a Moodle account for you when you are elected as a precinct officer or when you agreed to be an area coordinator or committee volunteer. To login, click the blue button below. Those with Gmail addresses do not have a username and password. Instead, click “Sign in with Google.” Those without Google accounts received a password by email from fourthvc@wakedems.org. If you don’t remember what email you use with Wake Dems or forgot your password, click “Lost password?” and fill in the form.

If you are not a precinct officer or committee volunteer, or you do not receive an email after filling out the Lost Password form, request a Moodle account through the Information / Request Form. For any other Moodle questions, contact our Fourth Vice Chair.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do we need onboarding? WCDP is a large and complex organization and we function better when everyone has a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Our training platform is part of the efforts to improve knowledge and communication around technology and data.

  • What is Moodle? Moodle is a Learning Management System (LMS) that we use to provide training to volunteers.

  • How do I use Moodle? Volunteers access Moodle via a web browser (Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) on any platform (PC, Mac, etc.) with Internet access. Login to Moodle using the button at the top of the page.

  • How do I log into Moodle? You must log in using the email address given to the onboarding team. If you have an @gmail.com email address, on the login page, click “Sign in with Google.” If you do not have an @gmail.com address, you should have received a username and password by email. If you have problems, email the 4th Vice Chair.

  • What if I don’t have a Moodle account? If you can’t log in and receive an error message such as “An account with your email address could not be found”, then the onboarding team needs to create your account. Please submit an onboarding request through the Information / Request Form.

  • What courses do I need to take? You have been automatically enrolled in all courses that are required for your role. Please complete each course listed on your “My Courses” page.

  • What happens if I don’t complete the courses? For now, nothing. You will receive an email reminder every few weeks for each course you have not completed. Within the next year, however, we will be begin implementing consequences such as loss of access to WCDP technology tools.
