Precinct 01-51 and friends potluck party!
Bring a dish or snacks to share, a pen to write with, and please consider donating some postcard stamps if possible!
Midtown’s party precinct, 01-51 is hosting a fall potluck, and you’re invited. Bring a friend, and come enjoy conversation with like-minded voters and volunteers.
In addition to chatting and chewing, we’ll have postcards that need to be written and mailed, so your help is needed.
Been wanting to get involved with WakeDems, but not sure what opportunities are the best fit and not ready to take the plunge? This will be a GREAT opportunity for you to learn more, and see how volunteer actually work up close! We will show you, through live demonstrations, how we:
- Canvass / Door knock and invite like-minded neighbors to vote and get involved (using the MiniVAN app)
- Phonebank by reminding other Democratic supporters how important it is for them to cast their ballot (using the VPB)
- Assemble literature like door hangers, adding messages of encouragement to fellow voters in our area
- Write postcards to send to our neighbors, sharing the importance of Getting Out the Vote (GOTV)
- Plan and help host events that engage our volunteers in these efforts
