CARY WIDE EVENT – MLK Day of Service at Good Hope Farm

Join Wake Dems as we partner with the Town of Cary

Honor Dr. King’s legacy through service that strengthens our community. Wake Dems will join the Town of Cary’s MLK Day of Service at Good Hope Farm in West Cary, supporting food security across our region.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare this historic organic teaching farm for spring planting. Tasks may include using wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, hoes, pitchforks, pruners, and more as we ready the fields for the growing season.

As part of this day of service, please bring at least one canned or non‑perishable food item for donation to a local food pantry.

Come dressed for the weather and wear your Wake Dems gear if you have it.
