VPB for DVC Leads – Planning VPB Sessions

This is the first of two one-hour training sessions that follow “Direct Voter Contact Lead 101,” for DVC Leads and other precinct and area officers who will organize Virtual Phone Banking (VPB) events. This session covers the logistics of planning and setting up your virtual training session for volunteers in Google Meet, including:
- Creating Google Meet sessions
- Posting events on the WCDP Events Calendar
- Pre- and post-session communication with phone-banking volunteers
- WCDP’s toolkit for VPB organizers
The second session, “VPB for DVC Leads – Hosting VPB Sessions,” follows the “Planning” class. Organizers who also will host VPB sessions for volunteers should register for and attend the “Hosting” session, also.
