Candidate Statement:

Sean Cole believes that every person who comes before a trial court must be heard and understood. He knows that each case must be determined based on its own unique set of facts and with impartial application of the law. As NC Superior Court Judge, Sean would ensure that every party to a case receives the legal protections and courtroom procedures to which they are due.

Importance of this Race:

Republicans have been packing our judicial system for years and trampling on individual rights and the fair application of justice. We need to elect good, strong, and fair-minded Democrats to the Superior Courts to protect our civil and individual rights. We must elect Sean Cole to the North Carolina Superior Court, as Republican jurists are dominating our courts with ultraconservative ideology, and Cole has the experience and leadership we need on our Superior Court.

Office Responsibilities:

  • The NC Superior Court handles important cases affecting families, children, and the elderly.
