Akkina Murthy, Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for maintaining records of the county executive committee and issuing meeting notices.
From Akkina:
I have been actively involved in the Democratic Party for many years and have participated in grassroots activities during various election cycles. I currently serve as the Secretary for Wake County Democratic Party and as a NC chapter chair for They See Blue, a national organization that aims to elect Democrats at all levels of government. But my commitment to our community goes beyond politics. I served as the secretary and then the president of a local non-profit organization called TATA (Triangle Area Telugu Association), which promotes culture, language, and youth engagement. I founded the TATA Leadership Academy to help kids develop leadership skills.
